A Garza County man is free, after he was released from prison more than 29 years early.

The Garza County Sheriff's office tells NewsChannel 11, Pablo Soto was released from a Houston prison Monday for medical reasons. He had served only six months of his sentence.

A jury sentenced Soto to 30 years in prison last November, for the murder of his girlfriend Socorro Storie.  Soto rammed Storie's car in a Post cemetery in May 2005. He then chased her and beat her. Storie died three days later.

The reasons for Soto's early release, coming up tonight on NewsChannel 11 at 10.
