Ellis Not Drafted in 2002 NBA Draft

The waiting all came down to four hours of watching the NBA Draft on Wednesday night for Texas Tech's Andy Ellis. The hopeful draftee did not hear his name called after the two rounds.

It was a big night for foreign players as 14 were selected. Eight of the last 14 players that were selected play the power forward position including UT star Chris Owens. Missouri's Kareem Rush was the only other player selected from the Big XII going in the first round.

So what's next for Andy Ellis? Perhaps the free agent route? Perhaps to one of the minor league developmental leagues such as the NBDL? Playing overseas is even an option at this point.
