Lights were back on after a two-hour power outage in parts of Lubbock.
Lubbock Power & Light tells us about 4,500 customers were effected by the Tuesday's outage.
They say an equipment failure at the substation at 32nd and Elgin after 7:20pm caused residences, businesses and street lights to go dark. It effected about a two square-mile area from 19th Street to about 50th Street and from Indiana to Avenue P.
Power was restored around 9:15pm.
