All veterans, including the more than 2,000 who are buried at the City of Lubbock Cemetery, will be honored Monday during the Sixth Annual Memorial Day Service.
Everyone is invited to the ceremony that starts at 10 a.m. Monday morning at the cemetery.
Judge Sam Medina will give the invocation, and City Councilman Floyd Price will be the featured speaker.
If you have a loved one who was a vet, you're encouraged to place an American flag on their gravesite.
Seating is limited, but you are welcome to bring a blanket or a lawn chair.
