Pedestrian Hit and Killed Near Grace Clinic

A 25-year-old pedestrian died Monday after he was hit by a pick-up truck just 9:30pm.

Police say the man was crossing the Marsha Sharp Freeway near the Grace Clinic when a car traveling west struck him.

Police say the man was crossing a construction area where pedestrians are not allowed to walk.

EMS took him to University Medical Center with critical injuries where he died.
