Pedestrian Killed By Pickup Truck - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A man is dead after being struck by a pickup truck in west Lubbock. Police say 26 year-old Thomas Jackson was hit around 9:30 p.m. Monday while crossing the Marsha Sharp Freeway, just west of Quaker Avenue.

Jackson was taken to UMC where he later died. Police say he failed to yield right of way to the pickup truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.
