Driver Arrested Following Police Chase - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

One person is behind bars following a police chase in East Lubbock.

Police responded to a 911 call around 1 a.m. Tuesday at 312 E. 34th Street. When officers arrived, a man in a pickup truck fled the scene. Police chased the truck down Avenue A and across 50thSstreet.

The driver of the truck allegedly struck a parked vehicle before slamming into a pole at 51st and Avenue B. Police took him into custody without further incident. There is no word on why he ran from the police.
