If you know a pregnant woman who doesn't want to buckle up out of fear of hurting the baby, researchers at the University of Michigan say that is definitely a myth.
Instead, they say moms to be should buckle up to protect their baby. The study at University of Michigan found that 200 fetuses could be saved every year if pregnant women buckled up every time they were in a car.
The study showed that when women were not wearing seat belts, 80 percent of the crashes resulted in fetal death or major complications.
