It wasn't the dinner bell that packed the parking lot at Texas Roadhouse Saturday night, rather a fire alarm.
Firefighters arrived on the scene on South Loop 289 near Slide just before 10p.m.
Witnesses say a waitress came to their table and said there was a small fire in the kitchen, but everything was fine and they could continue to eat. Just a few minutes later she came back and told everyone they needed to leave the restaurant.
The Slide exit and the access road between Vicksburg and Slide were closed while firefighters put out the blaze.
Right now there is no confirmed cause of the fire. Signs at Texas Roadhouse say the restaurant had a minor fire and will be closed until further notice.
