Highland Medical Center Files for Bankruptcy - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock medical center could soon be sold to a group of doctors. Highland Community Hospital has filed for bankruptcy.

Records indicate the health care facility, located at 50th and University, owes more than 500 creditors $10-million dollars or more. Including more than $2-million to the IRS.

The company that owns Highland, Kentucky based Shiloh Health Services Inc. filed for bankruptcy in the Northern District Court on Saturday.
