Woman Pushed in Front of Car, Killed - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A woman is dead after allegedly being pushed in front of a car in east Lubbock. Police say 49 year-old Gloria Benson and 52 year-old Charles McDade were arguing around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday near 38th and the northbound access road of I-27.

That is when McDade allegedly pushed Benson into the street, where she was struck by a car. EMS took Benson to UMC where she later died. Police initially arrested McDade for aggravated assault, but he will likely be charged with murder. Investigators are stil looking for the driver of the car.
