The Snyder Tigers batted around in the first inning scoring 5 runs as they went on to beat the Hutto Hippos 7-5 in the 3A State Semifinals.
Jake Crenwelge was 2 for 2 with 3 RBI and Lance Day pitched all 7 innings for the complete game win. The Tigers advance to play Texarkana Pleasant Grove at Noon Thursday for the 3A State title.
Brent Bollinger (15-1) will be on the mound for Snyder in the Championship game. 25 years ago his father Charles, Snyder's current head coach, pitched Snyder to their only State title.
