We met up with both district four candidates, Paul Beane and Jerry Bell at Honey Elementary School as they worked hard with their teams to get out those last Election Day votes.
"Fair turn out. Probably a little more than we expected but not as much as we'd like," said Bell.
"We are a little bit disappointed on the turn out so far today but overall we were pleased with the number of early voters," added Beane.
Both men were out in full force and both take the same approach to Saturday evening's outcome, win or lose.
"Well I know the suns going to come up tomorrow morning win or lose," said Beane.
"I feel really good... I'm going to be fine whatever happens," said Bell.
And as for the message from both men to those of you who are sitting at home still deciding on whether to vote or not:
"Some people are going to make the decision for the city of Lubbock and I would like everyone that possibly could to come out and be part of the decision," said Bell.
"We've still got thirty minutes to vote folks and if you don't vote somebody else decides the issue," added Beane.
On May 10th, Beane received 45% of the vote. Bell had 32%.
