District Two Candidates Work Down to the Wire

The polls will be closed at 7 p.m., but that is not stopping Floyd price and Armando Gonzales from continuing to campaign.

Earlier Saturday Gonzales went door to door trying to get people out to vote for him.

Floyd price says that he is happy the end is in sight.

"It is a mental drain on you to do this, to knock on doors and walk and call, but that is what you need to do to get the information out to the public. I'm just glad this is the last day," said Price.

Both candidates say they are feeling confident.

"I'm ready to go ahead and win this and get back to and I know I sound redundant, but I want to get back to the public's business," said Price.

"I'm feeling very confident, cautiously optometric I guess.  We are trying very hard.  Seeing as many people as we can before seven," said Gonzales.

During the May 10th election, Price received 46% of the vote and Gonzales had 37%.
