The Lubbock City Council now has one new member, while another held onto his position.
A close race in District 2, as incumbent Floyd Price keeps his seat by just 108 votes. Price took 53% with 839 votes. Challenger Armando Gonzales took 47% with 731 votes.
In District 4, Paul Beane is the newest council member. Beane took 62% with 2,652 votes. Challenger Jerry Bell took 38% with 1,631 votes.
