Think Twice Before Sending Invitations to Your Botox Party
If you're considering Botox injections to eliminate wrinkles, head to the doctor's office and not a social gathering. Since the recent FDA approval of the toxin for cosmetic use, so called Botox parties are popping up across the country. That's why the American Academy of Dermatology is urging people to think twice before accepting such an invitation.
Instead of a Botox party, the AAD says you should choose a qualified doctor who will perform the procedure in a safe, medical setting.
The buzz word in cosmetic surgery right now is Botox, but it's not surgery. It's a series of injections that can literally turn back time. I tried it, right before the doctor who injected me tried it on himself.
