Mrs. Baird's Presents Gift to South Plains Food Bank - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The South Plains Food Bank received a large gift from a company celebrating a milestone.

"Minnie Baird had two philosophies, number one bake one more loaf of bread today than you did yesterday," said Shane Summero, of Mrs. Baird's. "There's always room to improve, and number two always share your fortunes with your neighbors."

In celebration of their 100th birthday, Mrs. Baird's is donating half a million loaves of bread to various food banks. Ten thousand loaves of bread went to the one, right here in Lubbock.
