Rosendo Rodriguez Returns to Lubbock

A death row inmate is back in Lubbock tonight. Rosendo Rodriguez is appealing his capital murder conviction, and will attend a hearing here in Lubbock next Thursday.

A Randall County jury convicted him in April, for the capital murder of Summer Baldwin.

Rodriguez is seeking a new trial, because he claims his first attorney was ineffective.
