Fire Destroys Abandoned Home

Investigators say it is likely someone set an early morning fire that destroyed an abandoned house in Lubbock County.

Firefighters arrived just before 6 a.m. Monday this morning to find the house in the 17,000 block of County Road 2200, just south of Woodrow Road, already engulfed in flames.

There is no word yet on what caused the blaze.
