Lightning Sparks House Fire in south Lubbock County - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A south Lubbock County family is staying elsewhere after a lightning strike damaged their home. Lightning struck the home near C.R. 7610 and south University Avenue around 11:15 p.m. Thursday night.

The house sustained some smoke and fire damage. Volunteer firefighters from Woodrow and Wolfforth helped put out the blaze. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries.
