Deputy Injured in Tasing Incident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock County Sheriff's deputy is hospitalized following an altercation in north Lubbock County. The deputy responded to a domestic disturbance around 3:30 a.m. Monday at a home at 2625 Gannon Street.

While details are unclear at this time, we know that the deputy was attacked and used a taser on the suspect. Both the deputy and the suspect were taken to the hospital. The suspect could now face charges of aggravated assault of a peace officer with a deadly weapon.
