Simmons Pool Closed Wednesday for Repairs

Mae Simmons Pool, located at East 24th Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, will be closed Wednesday for repairs and should reopen at 1:00 p.m. Thursday.  Patrons are encouraged to attend one of the City's other three municipal pools:

  • Clapp Pool, 46th Street and Avenue U
  • Maxey Pool, 4020 30th Street
  • Montelongo Pool, 3200 Bates

Hours of operation for the City pools are Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Entrance fees are $1.50 for youth (17 and under) and $2 for adults, and group rates are available for groups of 35 or more.
