Tickets to Texans Home Opener Sell Out Fast

Tickets to the expansion Houston Texans' September 8th home opener against the Dallas Cowboys sold out in less than 20 minutes on Saturday. Single-game tickets went on sale at 10:00 a.m. Within an hour, about half the total inventory was gone.

The December 29th season finale against the former Houston Oilers -- now the Tennessee Titans -- is also headed for a quick sellout. About 57,000 of the 69,500 seats are already held by season-ticket holders. That left about 18% of the capacity available for single-game purchase. All eight home games are expected to sell out.
