City of Lubbock offices will be closed Friday, July 4, 2008, in observance of Independence Day. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, July 7.
Due to the Independence Day holiday, garbage normally collected on Thursday will be collected on Wednesday and normal Friday collection will be moved to Thursday. Cart collection services will continue to run their normal Monday/Thursday routes.
Emergency services will continue without interruption.
