The Texas Rangers will relive the early years of the Washington/Texas franchise later this month at the Ballpark in Arlington. Major League Baseball's Triumphant Glory Series will be Saturday and Sunday, July 27th and 28th.
For those two games, the Rangers will go back in time, uniform wise, to 1961, the first year of the franchise's existence in Washington. The club will wear the home uniforms of the 1961 Washington Senators. The Texas opponent those two games -- the Oakland's A's will be outfitted in their road uniforms from 1972.
