Suspicious Death Investigation In Central Lubbock

Saturday morning just after 9 a.m., Lubbock EMS was called to 4406 20th Street, Apartment 19. When EMS arrived they found 54-year-old Kenneth Pratt dead with signs of what they call trauma.

EMS called Lubbock Police who arrived on the scene around 9:30 a.m. "When the police got there they initiated a homicide call out and the investigation's pretty young at this point," said Lubbock Police Lt. Jon Caspell.

Lt. Caspell says nobody has been charged, there are no suspects and that they are questioning Pratt's wife as a witness.

"The scene is still very fresh. We're looking into all aspects of it. We're not necessarily calling it a criminal scene yet or homicide scene. But it is one we want to take a very close look at to make sure we're doing a thorough enough investigation to make sure we cover all the angles on this one," Caspell added.

Lt. Caspell stressed that investigators have plenty of unanswered questions and they're working hard to be as thorough as possible in this death investigation. For Your Cell Phone
