Keeping a Diary a Good Way to Diet

Researchers at Kaiser Permanente conducted a study of almost 1700 hundred people to find out the best predictor of who will be successful on a diet.

They found that no matter the diet plan, those who kept a food diary by recording everything they ate lost twice as much weight as those who dieted without keeping records.They also found that the most successful dieters attended frequent support group meetings.

The study was conducted by Kaiser Permanente Center and is published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine.
