Boselli Still Questionable for Texans Training Camp

The Houston Texans opened training camp on Saturday. One of their highest profile players, left tackle Tony Boselli, still is recovering from shoulder surgeries.

The Texans made Boselli their top pick in the expansion draft, realizing the five time Pro Bowl star played in only three games last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars because of shoulder injuries. He's had three surgeries since last November. He wasn't able to participate fully in any of the minicamps and won't be ready to begin two-a-day practices on Monday.

Still, GM Charley Casserly thinks too much is being made of Boselli's injuries. The Texans are counting on Boselli to be the primary protector of the team's #1 draft choice, quarterback David Carr.
