Summerall to Continue Broadcasting at Fox

Longtime broadcaster Pat Summerall says that he'll return to the Fox network this fall to do play-by-play -- mainly on Dallas Cowboys games. Summerall's 21 year broadcasting partnership with John Madden ended at last year's Super Bowl.

Summerall, who played for Arkansas and the New York Giants, had said after Fox didn't renew his contract last winter that he wanted to keep doing games. He said at a benefit golf tournament in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Monday that he and Fox had reached a deal for him to do regional games. The 72 year-old Summerall has a home in the Dallas area.
