Rodeo Kicks Off Texas FAA Convention - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The 80th annual Texas FFA Convention rodeo kicked off Monday at the Texas Tech Equestrian Center.        

Among the activities participants competed in were bull riding, team roping, calf roping, goat tying and barrel racing. High school students from around Texas have all assembled in Lubbock to participate in this week's events.

The top 10 will be competing Tuesday night in the finals. On the line is a thousand dollar scholarship to the college of their choice when they graduate.
