Afternoon Drug Bust

Just after five o'clock Tuesday, a Lubbock Police narcotics team searched a house in central Lubbock, and that search warrant led them to 680 grams of crack cocaine. Police arrested 17-year-old Lee Briones, who lives at home with his mother. Briones was booked in the Lubbock County Jail, and is awaiting his arraignment.

680 grams of crack has a street value of more than $68,000.

    An internet activist has raised nearly $100,000 on a GoFundMe page to purchase the internet histories lawmakers and others who helped pass a resolution that allows broadband and other telecommunications services to sell internet users' private histories.
