Cyclists Stop in Lubbock on Journey Across America

Some bicyclists stopped in Lubbock on Day 36 of their journey across America. The fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi, is peddling from coast to coast to raise money for Push America, an organization benefitting people with disabilities.

"Each one of us has raised five-thousand dollars on behalf of the foundation for people with disabilities," said Adam Upshaw. "There's three groups of 30 riders and all together we've raised about half a million dollars. It's very worthwhile it's one of the biggest things I've ever done so it's a very exciting organization to be a part of."

The groups will cycle a combined 12,000 miles this summer.
