They gave him a second chance, now Lubbock law enforcement says he blew it. That means we've added a new suspect to NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted wall.
David Carroll Lacy, 45, is now one of NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted. Court documents state he slammed a woman against a hard surface, and used a shovel and acrylic pyramid as deadly weapons, back in March of 2003. He pleaded guilty to that charge and, in exchange, the court didn't make him go to prison. Instead, he was sentenced to eight years of community probation.
To stay out of prison, Lacy had to keep a job, check in with his probation office, and notify them if he planned to move. Well, court records show he violated almost every condition of his probation, now the D.A.'s office has filed paperwork to revoke Lacy's probation, and put him behind bars.
If you know where David Carroll Lacy is or how to find him, call the Lubbock Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Your tip could move Lacy to the captured wall, and remember one call can make the difference.
