NewsChannel 11 has uncovered a criminal past for the suspect accused of raping a 12-year-old Lubbock girl on Thursday.

Francisco Rodriguez Junior is in the Lubbock County jail on a $250,000 bond. He is charged with burglary of a habitation while committing another felony.

This is not Rodriguez's first offense. NewsChannel 11 found he has already been to prison for burglary of a habitation. And, he also received a prison sentence after a third DWI conviction. Currently, Rodriguez has two cases pending against him: one for a November assault, and the other for violating a protective order.

Police say Rodriguez walked inside a home in the 2900 block of Baylor Thursday afternoon. He allegedly attacked a 12-year-old girl who was home alone at the time. Minutes later, officers arrested him at a nearby home.
