Fire at Apartments in Woodrow Intentionally Set, Officials Believe

An arson investigation is underway in South Lubbock County.

Woodrow Firefighters arrived around 7pm Sunday to find smoke coming from the windows of an apartment building. It's located behind the Cooper's Drive-in on FM 1585 just West of Highway 87.

Few details are known at this time, but fire officials tell us they do believe the fire was intentionally set.
