Allen is only in his fifth season out of Oklahoma. The Texans are hoping he can lead their blue-collar running backs corps. As the team went through its fourth day of workouts on Thursday, running backs coach Chick Harris is still looking for signs of what kind of offense the players will allow to evolve.
