Special Olympic Activities Kick Off - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Second Annual Challenge Day for Lubbock's Special Olympics kicked off Thursday morning. First, local athletes accompanied law enforcement officers on the torch run. Athletes then participated in a flag presentation and soon after, the games began.

The Special Olympics are designed to help give everyone an opportunity to take part in the athletic experience.
