An update on our investigation into sex offenders in the work place. Cujo's Sports Bar and Grill management contacted NewsChannel 11 after our story aired to let us know a man on the list, was no longer an employee there.

According to employment information they provided to NewsChannel 11, Wilber Thomas was terminated in June of last year. Before airing our story, we called every place of employment and asked for the sex offender by name. In Thomas's case, we called Cujo's and were told quote "he will be in later tonight."

NewsChannel 11 also received confirmation from other places we called, that the offender in question was employed there. DPS says they rely on the appropriate law agencies where a sex offender lives for proper registration information. It is also the responsibility of the sex offender to report any changes.
