A former Texas Tech Chancellor could soon have a top position at another Big 12 university.  

NewsChannel 11 has learned that John Montford could soon have the top post at the University of Texas. Sources in Austin tell us Montford is a frontrunner for the job. But, there is no word on whether Montford would accept the job if it were offered to him.
