Lubbock Pedestrian Struck While Inspecting Fender Bender Damage

A Lubbock pedestrian is hospitalized after an accident in southeast Lubbock Friday. This followed a fender bender at South Loop 289 and the Slaton Highway.

A third vehicle struck Mariola Martinez, 24, as she was inspecting the damage and exchanging information with the other driver.

EMS took Martinez to the hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.
