Lubbockites Receive Free Gas

Some folks in Lubbock got a break on gas Saturday.  The first 105 customers at Lowe's Supermarket received a $30 certificate for free gas.  People lined up early to get their certificate, and some say it made their day.

"A friend of mine called me, and I just got really excited, because you can't sneeze at free gas," Lindsey Garland said.

Lowe's joined with Alliance Financial Services, Victory Life Baptist Church, and Bolton Oil to sponsor Saturday's giveaway. The coupons do need to be used by next Saturday.
