Elderly Woman Slams Car into Lubbock Post Office - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The Lubbock post office at 50th and Gary closed early Monday, after a customer drove her car into the front of the building.

Police say an elderly woman pulled into the handicapped spot just after 3:00 p.m., and apparently mistook the gas for the brake.

The impact injured a customer standing at the desk inside, so EMS took her to the hospital. But no one else was injured.
