A call to Crime Line lands another one of NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted behind bars. David Carroll Lacy was in the Lubbock County Jail Monday night.
Court records state Lacy slammed a woman against a hard surface and used a shovel and plastic pyramid as deadly weapons in 2003. He pleaded guilty to those charges, and received eight years of probation. Authorities say he violated almost every condition of that agreement, so they issued a warrant for his arrest.
We featured Lacy on NewsChannel 11's Most Wanted back on July 16th. A call to Crime Line led police to the Villa Town motel, where police picked Lacy up on July 19th.
Lacy remained in county lock-up Monday, and he moves to NewsChannel 11's captured wall, giving us 17 captured suspects. As this case shows, one call can make a difference.
