Texas Tech Formally Introduces University's 15th President

On Monday, Texas Tech formally introduced Lubbock to its new president.

At the Frazier Alumni Pavilion, Chancellor Kent Hance welcomed Dr. Guy Bailey as the University's 15th president. His wife, Jan, is a Texas Tech graduate.

Bailey actually assumed his new duties already on Friday.

"It's not only an exciting time for me, I think it will be an exciting time for the institution and I can't tell you how excited my wife was," said Dr. Bailey. "Fifteen years ago I learned something right after we got married, and I've been doing it ever since right 'Gun's Up!'."

Before making the move to Lubbock, Dr. Bailey was Chancellor of the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
