"Gallon for a Pint" Blood Drive

United Blood Services and Rudy's Country Store & Barbecue are inviting the citizens of the South Plains to join the "Gallon for a Pint" blood drive.

Everyone who makes a lifesaving blood donation at the center through Saturday, August 9th will receive a t-shirt, and a coupon for $5 worth of gas at Rudy's.

Everyone who donates once now, and again before January 5th, will get a voucher for a free flu shot.

The requirements for donating are simple:

  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • must weigh at least 110 pounds
  • be in good health

Stop by United Blood Services at 48th and University, or call (806) 741-1752 to make an appointment.

Center hours are:

  • Monday - 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday - 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
