Home Invasion Suspect Arrested At His Home

Lubbock Police arrested a man wanted in connection with a recent home invasion. Donavan Sauceda is suspected of entering a home in the 4000 block of 66th Street, Sunday morning, and holding the victims inside at gunpoint. Police say they have seen a recent increase in violent home invasions and carjackings, and they think this arrest may help them solve some of those cases.

"This arrest is leading, already producing leads possibly to other suspects involved in that home invasion, and the detectives are looking into links to other home invasions that have occurred over the last several days and last several weeks," said Capt. Greg Stevens of the Lubbock Police Department.

The Police Department along with SWAT arrested Sauceda at his home on 51st Street around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
