Two men suspected of being involved in a weekend home invasion are behind bars after they allegedly held their victims at gun point. Those men are 17 year-old Davon Perez and 19 year-old Donovan Sauceda. Lubbock Police investigators say, Sunday morning, Perez and Sauceda held their victims at gun-point while they took cell phones, electronics and a wallet.
"There was at least one hand gun used. The victims were threatened with their life having the weapon pointed at them," said Lt. Greg Stevens with Lubbock Police.
Police believe that was at a home in the 4000 Block of 66th street Sunday morning. Sauceda was arrested Tuesday evening while Perez was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon.
"The second suspect arrested in the home invasion robbery after a short foot chase with detectives Mr. Perez was taken into custody," said Stevens.
And police believe this crime may not the pair's only crime. "These suspects may be linked to other robberies, they're not certain at this time but there is that possibility. So the detectives are working hard to find links and to establish evidence," added Stevens.
Both suspects, Perez and Sauceda, are charged with aggravated robbery and are each being held at the Lubbock county jail on a $500,000 bond.
