Area Teachers Receive Thousands of Dollars in Mini-Grants - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

As area school children prepare to head back to the classroom, so are faculty and staff.

Twenty-seven area teachers received more than $17,000 in funding Thursday, for the  implementation of creative classroom projects in the upcoming school year.

The mini-grant program was made possible by the Lubbock Area Foundation.
