Former Youth Corps Instructor Charged With Sexual Assault

A former Texas Youth Corps instructor is in custody, charged with sexual assault against an under-aged participant.

NewsChannel 11 first told you about this case last July.  Thursday evening, Lubbock County authorities arrested 21-year-old Elizabeth Jackson at the Wayland Plaza on West 19th Street.

Jackson is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old male participant in the Youth Corps. Investigators were alerted in June of 2007, and the investigation has been ongoing since that time.

Tuesday, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Jackson. We'll have the latest developments coming up on NewsChannel 11 immediately following the Olympics.
