Students, parents and community businesses came together Tuesday for a Back to School rally at Clapp Park. Lubbock regional MHMR hosted the event in hopes of teaching kids valuable information on drug and alcohol use and abuse. "We're here for the kids, you know it's about time to get ready to go back to school, and the kids need to realize that you can have fun without using drugs as well. said Len Gilliard with MHMR.
Activities at Tuesday's event included games, givea-ways and a chance to meet local celebrities.
